Blaine Donley

Blaine Donley, age 90 of Murphy, NC died in Blairsville, Georgia, Thursday, May 10, 2007.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the son of the late Robert Lee and Minnie Jane Cole Donley. Mr. Donley was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran. He was a retired Cattle farmer and raised registered Polled Herefords. He enjoyed fox hunting.

He was preceded in death by three brothers John, Jim and Lee Donley and three sisters Alice Moore, Addie Lewis and Ethel Donley.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Hazel Suit Donley, three nephews and three nieces.

Pallbearers were Teddy Stiles, Varnel Jones, Sid Jory, J.R. Verner, Stan Morrow and Larry Schafer.
