Cycling for Civitan 2007

Ready, set, ride! That's right, it's time for the 1st annual Cycling for Civitan, and this event promises family fun and exercise.

The ride is set for Saturday, June 2nd, 2007. The event begins and ends at Konehete Park Murphy, NC and will features three different routes (1 mile participation event in which participants can walk, run, or bike; and one and a half and five miles rides.) Please be mindful of the route on this day. It covers the park - Pleasant Valley Rd, Andrews Rd, Black and Gold Circle, Bulldog Drive and Hill Street.

Register now! Registration forms can be found at local shops in Murphy. Pre registration needs to be postmarked by May 24th, 2007 to recieve the discounted entry fee. Participants can also bring registration forms to the ride on June 2 or fill out a form at the ride. There will be an additional charge for same-day registration but will be waived with a can good to benefit local food banks.

Be sure to sign the waiver. All riders must wear helments. An adult must accompany riders under 13. Riders must obey all traffic laws.
