Golf Pro Brett Beazley visits Boy Scout Troop

Troop 101 thanks Brett Beazley for his time and sharing his knowledge of the game of golf.
Local Boy Scout Troop 101 had the opportunity to learn from a pro on Monday, May 14th and start earning a golf merit badge. Golf Professional Brett Beazley, director of Golf Operations for The Ridges Golf Club and Resort, discussed the fundamentals of golf, golf course management, and the golf etiquette. The scouts came away with a new found understanding in what it takes to play the game of golf as well as the operations of a golf course itself. The evening was coordinated by Brady Kumler, Boy Scout in charge of organizing the golf merit badge for the local troop. Joe Garner, Scout Master of Troop 101, commented on how well . Beazley kept the scouts involved in the discussion and the excellent interchange of questions and answers as both the scouts and Beazley challenged each other in the knowledge of the game.
