Stecoah Valley Food Ventures cook with Chef Gentry

On May 12, six lucky students enjoyed making and eating a meal of organic, vegetarian delights when they joined Chef Michael Gentry in the kitchen at Stecoah Valley Food Ventures. The purpose of the Culinary Retreat held at Stecoah Valley Food Ventures on the Second Saturday each month is to offer a variety of food from a wide spectrum of cuisines.

Next month, James Naquin, Jr. will present Asian Cooking with an emphesis on the region of Vietnam (his specialty). The class will prepare a meal and savor the flavor of this unique cuisine on June 9 at 10:00 - 2:00. To sign up for the class or for more information, call Stecoah Valley Center at 828-479-3364.
