Summer food service program for children Cherokee County Schools announces the sponsorship of the US Department of Agriculture funded Simplified Summer Food Service Program. Meals wil be provided to all eligible children free of charge. (To be eligible to recieve free meals at a residential camp, children must meet the guidelines for reduced price meals in the National School Lunch Program. the income guidelines for reduced price meals by family size are listed below. Children who are members households receiving foodstamps or FDPIR, or TANF benefits are automatically eligible to recieve free meal benefits at eligible program sites.) The Summer Food Service Program will operate open-sites for meal services at the following locations: A World of Wonder (Breakfast Service 8:30-9:00) (Lunch service 11:30-12:00) Andrews Child Development (Breakfast service 8:00-8:30) (Lunch service 11:00-12:00) Andrews Elementary (Breakfast service 7:30-8:30) (Lunch service 11:00-1:00) Mountain Youth School (Breakfast service 8:00-9:00) Murphy Early Education (Breakfast 8:15-9:15) (Lunch service 11:15-12:00) Murphy Elementary (Breakfast service 7:30-8:30) (Lunch service 10:45-12:45) Ranger Elementary (Lunch service 11:00-12:00) Texana Community Center (Breakfast service 11:30-12:15) Tiny Tots Day Care (Breakfast service 7:45-8:30) (Lunch service 11:00-11:45) Tri-County College Child Dev. (Breakfast service 8:00-8:45) (Lunch service 11:30-12:15) Valley River Learning (Breakfast service 8:00-8:45) (Lunch service 11:15- 12:00) All sites will operate from June 13 - August 10, with the following exceptions: Mountain Youth School (June 14 - June 29) and Ranger Elementary (July 30 - August 3.)
