Dead man found beside road

A man was found dead Saturday just outside the Andrews town limits.

Christopher Nelson was discovered by a family member between 11 and 11:30 a.m. on the side of the road at the end of Collett Street, said Cherokee County Sheriff Keith Lovin.

There was no obvious signs of foul play but the matter is under investigation, Lovin said.
