Cherokee Eagles hold fundraiser

      The Cherokee County Eagles held a fundraiser on Saturday afternoon at Konehete Park. At first, the weather didn't cooperate but it quickly cleared up to be a fairly nice afternoon. Families showed up in support of their sons, fathers, and husbands. A few fans also showed up.

Carolina 11U travel team takes 2nd place finish
      The Carolina Cardinals 11U Travel Baseball team finished 2nd in the 3rd Annual Blue Ridge Battle of the Bats. The Baseball Players Association (BPA) from Tennessee hosted this tournament in Cherokee, NC on June 9-10.
