Andrew Clifford Longcoy

Andrew Clifford Longcoy, 18, of Heaven's View Drive, Asheville, died Sunday, July 15 2007, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident as he was driving home from a picnic at Covenant Community Church. Andrew graduated from AC Reynolds High School in June, 2007, where he was the manager of the track, cross country, and swim teams.

Surviving are Andrew's parents, Nancy Matherson Longcoy and Clifford R (Butch) Longcoy III; his sister, Emma Longcoy; his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Martha Matherson of Hayesville; his paternal grandparents, Clifford and Barbara Longcoy of Asheville; his aunts and uncles, David Matherson of Franklin. Charlene and Noland Smith of Murphy, and Pat and Philip Cocke, and Barbara Ann and Victor Smith, all of Asheville, Donations may be made to Andrew's love, Covenant Community United Methodist Church.

Asheville Area Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services was in charge of arrangements.
