Back to school
Summer's over and Cherokee County educators Monday converged on Murphy First Baptist Church for a general meeting. During a break many friendships were renewed. Left, Brenda Worley, thrid grade teacher at Martins Creek School, and Ashley Spikes, an assistant teacher at the school, greet each other after the long summer. Teachers are preparing all this week for the first day of school. Students will rub sleepy eyes and head back to the classrooms Monday.
