Too good to be true?
Have you ever heard the old saying "If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is?" My Grammy and Pop used to tell me that all the time. This is a big red flag!

I still have been scammed on a few occasions. Not of recent, however.

Please folks, watch out for people wanting you to put checks into your bank accounts and cash them, then send the money through Western Union or money orders. This is a big scam and you will lose your money. Not only will you lose what you have but you will have to pay back the bank to cover whatever you sent them as well.

If you have any doubt if they are for real, ask the Better Business Bureau or go online to find out about their company. Get references and check them out. Talk to other people about what you are thinking about doing and get opinions. I don't know about others but I can't afford to throw my money away.

These people are so brazen that they are even advertising in local newspapers! Been there done that and got the hard knocks to prove it! Please be careful folks.
