Poor Man's Supper Oct. 13th

A Poor Man's Supper will be held on Oct. 13 from 4-7 p.m in the fellowship hall at Sweetwater United Methodist Church, Hyw. 64W in Hayesville.

Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door for $5. Take-out is available. A raffle drawing for the Carnival Quilt will be held. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. You do not have to be present to win. The Mountain Faith bluegrass gospel group from the Smoky Mountains of Sylva NC will perform. The group consists of Sam McMahan on the bass, Summer McMahan on the mandolin and fiddle, Brayden McMahan on the banjo, John Morgan on the guitar, and Jed Mobley on the mandolin. This group has been traveling for over threeyears and has sung in nine states in the south and Midwest. They have played and sung in over 100 churches.
