A member of Andrews Church of God, She was preceded in death by a sister Sharon Gilbert and a brother Raymond Simmonds.

Survivors include: father, Frank Simonds of Andrews son, Donnie Simonds of Muphy, NC, son, Chris McDaniel of Ellijay, GA, daughter, Emily Davis of Peachtree, sister, Grace Crawford of Andrews, grandson, Austin Davis of Peachtree, granddaughter, Sharon Davis of Peachtree, grandson, Lane Dye of Peachtree and several nieces & nephews also survive., the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, North Carolina was in charge of arrangements.
