Nelle Yonce

Nelle Yonce, age 68, of Murphy, NC died Saturday November 10, 2007 at her home.

A native of Dayton, TN, she was the daughter of the late A. V. Mathis. A former resident of Satellite Beach, FL, she had resided in Murphy since nineteen hundred seventy four, She was a homemaker and a member of the Upper Peachtree Baptist Church. Mrs. Yonce enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Charles, Bill and Talmedge Mathis.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Paul Yonce of Murphy, NC; her mother Clarcy McNabb Mathis of Murphy, NC; two sons, Michael Yonce of Seoul, Korea and Jeffery Yonce of Jacksonville, FL;

one brother, Frank Mathis of Murphy, NC. Two granddaughters; Jennifer Yonce White and Laura E. Yonce both of Murphy, NC and several nieces and nephews survive also.

Pallbearers were Eric Yonce, Charles Mathis, Lynn Mathis, Frank Mathis, JR, Bobby Yonce and James Yonce.

In lieu of flowers the family requests Memorials may be made In Memory of Nelle Yonce to the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery fund 481 Upper Peachtree Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
