Murphy Middle School Career Day

PHOTO SUBMITTED On October 26, Murphy Middle School held its annual Career Day. This day presents students with a chance to think about their future, their educations and to develop the knowledge and skills needed for their career interests. The 20 speakers presented a variety of occupations and explained requirements needed to attain these professions. Students were exposed to speakers in nontraditional roles and were able to learn about the occupational pathways that are available currently or are projected to be in high demand in the near future. Thanks to the generous volunteers from the Cherokee County community, Murphy Middle School's annual Career Day was again a success.
