Woman arrested for crack cocaine An Andrews woman was arrested after crack cocaine was found in her vehicle. On December 5, 2007 the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office and the Multiple Agency Narcotics Unit stopped a vehicle near the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 64 and Mission Road. A subsequent search of the vehicle and occupants resulted in the seizure of approximately 13 grams of crack cocaine. Arrested as the result of this seizure was Amanda Marie Cribbs, 20, of 84 Fairview Mobile Home Park, lot 15, Andrews, who was charged with possession with intent to distribute "crack" cocaine, felony maintaining a vehi - cle for the purpose of transporting "crack" cocaine, felony possession of "crack" cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was incarcerated on $15,000 bond. This arrest was the result of an on going investigation targeting those individuals involved in the distribution and sale of crack cocaine. This investigation is continuing and future arrests are anticipated. The Sheriff's Office and the Multiple Agency Narcotics Unit urge anyone having information about drug trafficking to contact either the Sheriff's Office at 837-2589 or the Task Force at 837-4864. | |||||
