Operation Christmas Child in full swing at HDHS
Eleven high school stu- dents are going to bring smiles, laughter and much happiness at Christmas to five children from other parts of the world.

The students, all members of the Hiwassee Dam High School Psychology Club, voted to participate in Operation Christmas Child. They met at the Dollar Tree and spent over an hour putting the shoe boxes together. The challenge for them was getting all of the items they wanted the children to have into the containers.

"We just wish we could be there to see the kids' faces," said Miranda Carballo, club member. "I never knew that helping with a community project could be so much fun." The students earned the money to fund the project.
