Bankers Hour nets $19,500 for charities Blairsville, GA - April 24, 2008 - United Community Banks employees entertained thousands of customers and friends with their action-packed, live production of The Banker Hour on Saturday, April 12th. Donations were accepted which will benefit many community charities. The result: a total of $19,500.00 for charities throughout the United footprint in Georgia, western North Carolina and east Tennessee. This annual event is a family affair and another example of United Community Bank's spirit and commitment to its communities.
