LEONARD ALBERT MAILLOUX

Leonard Albert Mailloux, age 70 of Downings Creek Rd., Hayesville, NC passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Murphy Medical Center in Murphy, NC.

Mr. Mailloux was a native of Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. Leonard lived in Titusville, Florida before moving to Hayesville 21 years ago. He was of the Catholic faith. He was an accomplished guitar player, sailor, carpenter, foundry worker, and was the Chief Foreman for Waste Water Treatment for the City of Titusville, Florida, HVAC installer and sheet metal fabricator.

He was the son of Romeo and Germaine Cardin Mailloux and was preceded in death by one brother, Pete Mailloux.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Mailloux; son, Randy Mailloux and his wife Charlotte of Port St. John, Florida and stepson, Travis Beasley and his wife Christene of Mims, Florida; one daughter, Tracy Gayton and her husband Bruce of Orlando, Florida; four brothers, Richard Mailloux, Donald Mailloux, Conrad Mailloux and Maurice Mailloux; three sisters, Beverly, Vivian and Romaine and 11 grandchildren.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 9, 2008 for family and friends.
