Ice Box Slaw

"Remember planning for class reunions and family reunions when looking for a recipe that will travel well and keep along time. This recipe will hold true to the fact that it makes a good quality and carries well. Plus it is really good. So next time you have a gathering and want something simple and delicious pull out this recipe."Remember there are no bad days- Some are just better than others."

Ingredients
• 1 medium Cabbage
• 2 medium onions, cut fine
• 1 small Bell pepper,
chopped
• 1 teaspoon mustard
• 1 teaspoon celery seed
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup vinegar

• 3/4 cup oil
• 2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Chop cabbage, onion and bell pepper,. Toss in large bowl. Bring to a boil the sugar, vinegar, oil, mustard , celery seed and salt . Pour over cabbage mixture. Let cool. Put in a tightly covered container and chill for at least 24 hours. Gets better every day and will keep 3 to 4 weeks.
