The Tri-County Community College (TCCC) Adult Basic Skills division held its graduation ceremony on Tuesday, August 12, at the Graham County Center.
Dr. Donna Tipton-Rogers, President of the college, was the graduation speaker. She congratulated the graduates on their achievement of going back to school and for overcoming the obstacles that kept them from earning a diploma earlier.
"Graduation is an important time in your life," said Dr. Tipton-Rogers. "In some ways it is the most important time."
She also talked about what the GED can mean in their lives, including more opportunities and better pay.
