he Andrews Mites finished the regular season this weekend with a 32-6 victory against the Robbinsville Knights. A close game in the first half with Andrews up by only 2-points at half time.

Andrews got back on track after a 20 yard punt return by Doug Ball to set up a touchdown by Cameron Debty. The Wildcats never looked back, the defense stepped up and suffocated the Knights. The offense lead by Kurtis Raxter marched up and down the field for three more touchdowns.

Andrews did have it's problems with four turnovers, two of them on the goal line, "We must try to protect the ball a lot better going into the playoff, if we do that we will be fine. We are a very disciplined team that takes pride in not turning the ball over and playing hard nose defense. I'm very proud of the Mite Team to be able to get through the Smokey Mountain Youth Conference without a lose, this is a great accomplishment!" said Coach Wiley

Next up the winner out of Frankin/Smokey Mountain/ Murphy a three way tie for fourth place. The winner will play Andrews in Franklin on October 18, this game will determine who gets to go to the big dance in Swain October 25.
